Islam and the Concept of Steadfastness (Istiqamah)
How can Istaqamah come in deen?
It has several meanings: It means to be straight, to follow the straight path, to remain firm on one’s principles and not to give in to difficulties or challenges. Some scholars say that it also means to be sincere and do good things in public as well in private life. Some others say that it means to be straight in words as well in deeds. (See Nadrat Al-Na’im, vol. 2, p. 304)
Sunnat: Istaqamah is sunnat of prophets.The prophets had trials from Allaah and People but did not stop their action so this sunnah which we have to follow.
Jaeolusy: If some one have more blessing person can feel jeaous.Momin always belong these blessing to Allaah. It is Allaahs hand to whom He give blessing.Momin can ask just dua
Allahuma inni asaluka sadlaadheem
No doubts Of SIlam: A person must be in doubts, assumptions...the must believe islam is reality and beief on Akhira...Becuace boubts make person not go continuously on Islam
Fear of Accountabilty: If some one fear standing of infront Of Allaah swt ...They the person definitely do good deeds...What they will have in their amal nama.(book of deeds).
Best rewards:Momin never compromise of worly benefits like Prophet (S.A.W) refused ad said If they gibe sun and moon give I will not stop making Dawa.So person work for best ajar which is permanat and that is Jannatul firdous.
Allaah s face: Only deeds for Allaah s raza like Abu bakar siddiw r.a did. Never saw his benifts but benfits of Islam and Allaah s raza.
Faith : Person is more strong from the firm belief. They completely believe all power and control is in hands of Allaah so person acts continually .
Person will get reward: Momin know their all salih deeds will get rewards on day. It means he will rewards in this world and Akhira.
Momin struggle: It is complete belief that Allaah will help any ways. It depend of Imaan and steadfastness of Action.
Only sake of Allaah: Only for Allaah s sake person may continue the deeds that the supreme power is watching and it is for Him. Like we have character of Hazrat Abu Bakar ra.
Taqwa: Fear, khashiat, habat, taqwa can be motivational force to be at on straight path and continuity of persons actions.
Fear from People: At time of obedience or acting of Allaah commandment if one has fear from social factor like from parents, people who are against their religion might be they stop following Allaah and Rasool because of people s fear .
The one see verses from Quran which tell us about reality of these people and world
If some call help from people it is like spreading hands to water (Alra'd 13-14)
They afraid from bad dua from their their idols (Alhood 54)
They idol can not harm or benefits (Alaraaf 195)
They idiol are weak if makhee are upon them they can take it aways ( Alhajj 73).
These idols are weak like spider has built weak houses. this is examples of people people who made other than Allaah their mabood (alankaboot 41)
there more more verses in quran ,person can read then their imaan will boost it will be focing factor to work continuesly.
Power of tasraff: A person need knowledge of Basic concepts of Islam. all powers of Tasraf is In the hands of Allaah swt.like Allaah create human being,He give rizq,He give Children and die people. And He fulfill oir necessities...so will go to Him So we will continue or deeds.
Knowledge: Mushrkeen does have any proof why they were not following are following the father faith but they answer their parents were following therefore they ae following. Momin must have proper ilm of Islam and sunnah theen nothing will stop following Islam
Allaah reward best: If person on the path of Islam some thing resist and momin leave or stop for of sake of Allaah swt. Then Allaah reward better than that. So momin have complete faith That Allaah will rewards best.
Become ummat wasat: Connect other to Allaah.perform role of mediatory.Dont become tagoot.

How can Istaqamah come in deen?
In the Glorious Qur’an, Allah Almighty says:(Indeed those who say, ‘Our Lord is Allah,’ and, further, stand straight and steadfast, the angels descend on them (from time to time): ‘Fear you not! (they suggest), Nor grieve! But receive the Glad Tidings of the Garden (of Bliss), that which you were promised!’ We are your protectors in this life and in the Hereafter: therein shall you have all that your souls shall desire; therein shall you have all that you ask for!’ A hospitable gift from One Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful!) (Fussilat 41: 30-32)
Sufyan Ath-Thaqafi reported, “I said, ‘O Messenger of Allah, tell me about Islam in one word that I would not ask anyone other than you (according to Abu Mu’awiyah he said, “anyone after you”).’ The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, ‘Say I believe in Allah and then stand steadfast.'” (Musnad Ahmad, 14869)

Istiqamah in Faith:
First we must emphasize deep and sincere faith in Allah. Let us build that relationship with our Creator with more worship and more devotion. Let’s have full trust in Allah Who has power over all things. He controls all affairs and if we remain with Allah, He will be with us, help and support us. We must entertain no doubt about Allah, His Prophet, His Book and His religion. Allah is the Truth and Islam is the right way. No matter what is the propaganda and no matter who misrepresents Islam, non-Muslims or Muslims, we must be sure that we are on the right path and nothing should shake our confidence in Allah and the religion that He gave us. We should practice our religion fully, in all details and as much as possible.
